Straight – Ek Tedhi Medhi Love Story, is a romantic comedy starring Vinay Pathak, Gul Panag, Anuj Sawhney, Siddharth Makkar, Achla Sachdev, Daman Baggan, Ketaki Dave, Anuj Chaudhary, and Rasik Dave.

The movie is directed by Parvathi Balagopalan, and produced by Shripal Morakhia and Charlotte Wontner.

Straight – Ek Tedhi Medhi Love Story tells the story of Pinu Patel who runs an Indian restaurant in central London, called Gaylord. Pinu is introverted, he is a virgin, and utterly confused about relationships and his sexual orientation.

Pinu’s unexciting life takes a turn for the better when Kamlesh, a stand-up comedian cum cook, and Renu, an artist, joins the restaurant. Gaylord becomes a popular haunt because of Kamlesh’s comedy acts and Renu’s funny caricatures.

Pinu’s fears of being gay increase and, on the advice of his brother Rajat, he sets out desperately looking for sexual relationships with women, to figure out his proclivities.

Straight – Ek Tedhi Medhi Love Story has been penned by Uttam Gada (story and screenplay) and Anahata Menon (screenplay).

The lyrics of the movie have been written by Subrat Sinha.

Vinay Pathak last few releases, were Oh, My God, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Dasvidaniya, Mithya and Via Darjeeling, all in 2008.

Vinay Pathak will be seen next in Jahnu Barua and Rahul Dholakia’s Mumbai Cutting, in 2009. The movie has an impressive cast that includes Sonali Kulkarni, Jimmy Shergill, Soha Ali Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Neetu Chandra, Tara Sharma, Raima Sen, Ranvir Sheorey, Reema Lagoo, Arjun Mathur, Sachin Khedekar, Palash Sen, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Sushant Singh, and Prateeksha Lonkar.

Gul Panag was last seen in the 2008 movie Hello, based on Chetan Bhagat’s One Night @ The Call Center. Her previous movies include the critically acclaimed Navdeep Singh’s Manorama Six Feet Under, Dor, Jurm, and Dhoop.
