Continuing the trend of video game adaptations into Hollywood movies, Len Wiseman, the director of blockbusters like Underworld evolution, Die Hard and Live Free will now be directing the first of a series of three movies based on the game “Gears of Wars”.

The fourth Terminator, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, is slated to hit the theaters on May 22, 2009. In the meantime, a fifth Terminator flick is in the works, Variety has reported.
