Malayalam movie industry’s average director, and the man who has moved to Bollywood to churn out a bunch of screechy slapstick comedies now wants to scare you. As if his comedies were not enough. Priyadarshan now plans to direct a horror movie called Grrr!
How much more obvious can you get?
It seems the new movie is about the man-eating tigers of the Sunderbans. Tigers go Grrr!, you see.
Anyway, Percept Picture Company has formed a new division called PPC Horrortainment to produce this new horror marvel from Priyadarshan.
There is no comedy in the movie, though, and no tiger would star in it. There will be a lot of special effects according to Priyadarshan, but no songs either, as apparently, how can you have a song in a movie titled Grrr!? That would be silly.
We hear that the movie would be shot abroad, and we don’t hear anything at all about who would be acting in the horror movie.
Let’s hope the movie does not flop the way Ram Gopal Varma’s horror movies flop, and the actors of Grrr! don’t get violent and go Arrrghh! on Priyadarshan.
