Universal Pictures' The Dance movie
will star Nicholas Cage and 50 Cent.

Nicholas Cage and rapper 50 Cent will star in Universal Pictures
The Dance based on the story of prison boxing coach, Billy
"The Kid" Roth.
The movie is based on a 2003 documentary directed by John Darling Haynes.
Nicholas Cage was an executive producer of the
documentary.

Cage will play Roth, a prizefighter who has spent more than 40 years as a volunteer boxing coach in Louisiana state prisons. He
comes across an inmate, 50 Cent, who he feels has the potential to be a contender.
Neil Tolkin, of The Emperor's Club, will write the
script for The Dance.
Nicholas Cage's next release would be Oliver Stone's World Trade Center that will hit the theatres this summer. Currently, Cage is
shooting the sci-fi film Next with Julianne Moore.
50 Cent will appear in Home of the
Brave, which would be his second
foray into acting and Hollywood. His
first movie was Get Rich or Die
Tryin' which hit the screens in
2005.
