2009 promises to be a very interesting year for India cinema.
The success of Luck By Chance, DevD – who would have thought the move would have been a hit in mainstream cinema? – and a string of forthcoming movies that blur the line between alternate and mainstream cinema augurs well for us.
Like a friend of mine puts it, “It’s like having a choice of Clarins, L’Oreal, and Biotique instead of just Lakme, Boroline, or Vicco Turmeric.”
Take a look at the sheer variety in the 2009 releases, in no particular order, and tell me you are not excited; that is if you love the movies.
