If you thought Quantum of Solace, the title of the upcoming Bond movie strange, here is more staggering stuff.
From wierd to utterly pedestrian, the next James Bond movie is titled James Bond 23 or may even be called Bond 23. Ok, so it will be the 23rd Bond movie in Bond history and, therefore, may be called Bond 23 but I should think the makers of Bond may have at least tried to give it a decent title. Unless it is, and I hope to God it is, a working title.
Though going by reports, it would be a highly optimistic assumption. Because, hold your breath, there is a Bond 24 and Bond 25 lined up. The only reason I can think of is the huge negative reaction to the title Quantum of Solace has made them wary. Quantum of Solace - sound like a James Bond movie directed by Khalil Gibran!
Bond 23, a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Release will hit theatres worldwide, in 2010. Bond 23 will be directed by Marc
Foster, director of Quantum of Solace. Foster has said that Bond 23 will not be a sequel to Quantum of Solace.
Daniel Craig will continue to play Bond in Bond 23 as well. Rumor has it that Daniel Craig has been signed on for Bond 24 and Bond 25 and is likely to earn a whopping $100 million for the four films.
Obviously, there are no pictures from James Bond 23 available now - but we will certainly publish them when they become available.

What’s in a name, a title, a lable I remember going to see a late night showing of a film called the Dear Hunter. Circumstances, serendipity the other showings all had queues I hadn’t got a clue what the film was about but I’ll never forget it.
I cannot think when the title of a film, book lable, LP/CD, or on a wine bottle has ever influenced my decision. If you’re stupid enough to allow that to predjudice your choice you will miss out on much that life has to offer.

Hehe…very shallow, no? But while a boring title will hardly stop moviegoers from watching a Bond movie, think of the fate of Dear Hunter. Surely, if the title was more interesting a lot more people would have not missed out on what the movie had to offer. What’s the fun in life without a dash of prejudice?

Its average. Roger Moore did seven bond films (1973-1985), Sean Connery did six of them (1962-67, 1971), Pierce Brosnan did four of them (1995-2002), Timothy Dalton two of them (1987-89), and finally George Lazarus did only one (1969). I think Daniel Craiq will be inbetween Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan when doing the amount of James Bond films, but Roger Moore holds the title to doing bond for the most years and most Bond films done. I think its cool that Daniel Craiq has Sean Connery’s wit and grits while at the same time has Brosnan’s wit and charm all in one. I say if they keep making em good like now, Craiq’s Bond will be held in high standard and regarded next to Connery’s in the years to come. To some people, Casino Royale is an instant classic now and its not even a couple years old yet. Its amazing how three years ago everybody criticized this new bond cause only hair color, but yet this actor delivers amazing performance and depth to this character. Bottoms up.
