Warner Brothers now wants to remake Superman with “dark shades.” Flush with the success of the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight, Warner Studios will now repackage Superman, and maybe Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman as dark super beings with emotional baggage.

After remakes being announced for old hollywood classics, now its the turn of old Bollywood classics to be rehashed for Hollywood. Los Angeles restaurateur Sanjay Patel has said that a Hollywood remake of the 1969 Bollywood classic Khamoshi is in the works.

A film adaption of Brideshead Revisited, based on Evelyn Waugh’s 1945 classic Brideshead Revisited, The Sacred & Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder will be released on July 25, 2008. Brideshead Revisited is directed by Julian Jarrold, and will star Emma Thompson, Michael Gambon, Matthew Goode and Ben Whishaw.
