Shemaroo launches music of animation movie Bal Ganesh

Shemaroo Entertainment has unveiled the musical score of its first kids’ 3D CGI animation flick, Bal Ganesh.

Bal Ganesh, the 3D animation film made by Shemaroo, has been created in association with Astute Media Vision and boasts of as many as seven lilting numbers, vocalized by a winning combination of the industry’s most respected voices and the freshest of vocal talent, all in one album. Significantly, it is after three decades that music director Shamir Tandon has brought together the Mangeshkar sisters, Asha and Usha, for the song Nanha Munna Bal Ganesh.

A special launch event was graced by the entire crew of singers of Bal Ganesh including Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Sudesh Bhonsle, and Siddhant Bhonsle. The Zee Saregamapa participants Amaanat, Aneek, Nirupama, Junaid, Mauli, Sumedha, and the Zee Lil champs Sanchita, Sameer, Pavni along with Raj Pandit have also lent their voices to songs in the movie.

Celebrity supporters who attended the event included Lyricist Sameer, Abhay Deol, E Niwas, Shivam Nair, and Ashok Pandit.

The music for the movie has been directed by Shamir Tandon music director of Page 3, Traffic Signal, and Corporate.

Shemaroo Entertainment, an integrated Film Production, Post Production, Distribution And Animation player, has to its credit an extensive library of Hindi films and is also a satellite TV player. The company’s animation division has already lined up projects such as Ghatothkach – Master of Magic, which was the first Indian animated film to be promoted at the Cannes Film Festival.
