An all-out bidding war is on between People magazine and Hello! magazine for exclusive photos of the Angelina Jolie – Brad Pitt twins. The bidding amount is now poised at $15 million for the first exclusive pictures, and may go upto $20 million.
In 2006, when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s biological daughter, Shiloh, was born, People magazine spent
$4.1 million for the North American rights. Hello! bagged the international rights for $ 3.5 million.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated the sales profits, to the tune of $10 million, to an undisclosed charity.
Reports say that Angelina Jolie has checked into the seafront Santa Maria maternity clinic in Nice, France.
Angelina has checked into the hospital for a rest period, where she will be under observation by doctors,
before she gives birth.
Jolie, 33, is expected to give birth to the twins sometime in the second week of July 2008. Some reports have said that Angelina’s babies are not due before August 2008.
Angelina Jolie’s spokeswoman has said that Angelina is doing well and is not on the verge of giving birth. The spokewoman of Lenvar Hospital has that Angelina Jolie will stay in the hospital until she gives birth to the twins.
Angelina Jolie has three adopted children. In 2002, Angelina adopted Maddox from Cambodia when he was
seven-months old. In 2005, Angelina adopted six-month-old Zahara from an orphanage in Addis Ababa. In
December 2006, when Brad Pitt indicated that he wanted to adopt the two children, the surnames of the
children were officially changed to Jolie Pitt.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt along with their children have moved to a new home, the Miraval Estate villa in the Correns, the south of France. Correns, in the Provence region, is very close to Nice. The Lenver Santa Maria clinic is situated in California Avenue, in Nice.
