The all-green Nissan Leaf is at the top of its game. Fifty-seven auto journalists from 23 European nations have voted the 100 percent electric vehicle as the 2011 European Car of the Year, beating 40 contenders to win Europe's most prestigious motoring prize. This is the first time that an electric vehicle has won this accolade in the 47-year history of the annual competition.
