The Mitsubishi iMiev electric car is currently on display at the Canadian International Auto Show. We have been hearing about this car for more than an year, and it looks like a real car that would come to the markets in Europe, USA, Canada and possibly even India.

Starting March 3, 2009, when the curtains go up for the 79th Geneva International Motor Show, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will lift the wraps off its i MiEV Sport Air concept.

MiEV, the electric car from the Mitsubishi Motors stables, has been picked by the Green Car Journal as one of five nominees for its 2009 Green Car Vision award.

Mitsubishi, like other major car manufacturers, are busy planning for a future with hybrid and electric cars.
