Spanish auto maker SEAT will be looking at making its presence felt in the global car mart with the launch of the new Exeo saloon and ST in the UK.

It has been reported that the soon-to-come Ibiza ST will sport a distinct body style. The launch of the attractive ST is, however, not SEAT’s first entry into the supermini estate segment. The new vehicle comes after the SEAT Cordoba Vario which was launched way back in 1998. The new ST will be a compact estate, which incorporates more style, comfort and practicality.  SEAT’s latest new car is as confident as its design, according to auto news.
The ex-Lamborghini man, who has introduced SEAT’s new trademark Arrow Design concept on cars such as the latest generation Ibiza and new Exeo, is again working to deliver a healthy dose of much-needed sporting SEAT style into a traditionally dowdy market sector.

Meanwhile, realising that customers look at more attractive, top quality vehicles regardless of whether times are good or bad, the car maker has lined up as many as ten new models that suit customers’ tastes this year. This would also be an attempt by the company to position itself for better times.
As per plan, the company will next year rollout a third variant of its ST, which would be a wagon version of the successful Ibiza model. Though more details of the new vehicle is to be made public, SEAT has said that it will include a selection of engines not currently offered in the Ibiza. The car expected to find appeal across a broad spectrum of drivers will be rolled out in year 2010.
