Lenovo, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes in pact for 2009 Formula One season
Kickstarting a technology alliance, computer maker Lenovo has joined hands with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes to forge a partnership ahead of the 2009 Formula 1 season.
As per the new move, Lenovo notebook and desktop PCs will provide the team’s mission-critical computing solutions, both at the race track and at the team’s headquarters. A source said that the partnership with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes would give Lenovo good visibility and it is expected Lenovo’s engineering would be applauded when the partnership goes on stream.
The alliance would prove to be a value added to the existing leaders in its space.
