The Urus is an extinct German cow, according to WIkipedia.

So consider that all the disclaimers are given: This might all be wrong, and the car might turn out to be something else. And Lambrghini might have the last laugh.

So far, the news goes like this:

The mystery car will be unveiled at Paris Motor Show 2008. Lamborghini released two teaser photos of the car last week – frankly we can make out very little from the photos.

But mysterious sources on the Net say the Lamborghini Urus will be a four-door ‘coupe’ with a front engine, all-wheel drive. The Urus when it debuts will be a concept, but pretty close to production, possibly within an year. Engine details are obviously not available at this point – but Autoblog says it will be smaller than the V10 in the lamborghini Gallardo.

A four door super saloon / coupe like the Urus would beexactly what Lamborghini needs to take on the Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera – the Urus will continue the trend of four door supercars.

Oh by the way, the second row will likely not be of much use apart from small kids. But you expected that. But then again, Lambirghini might decide to surprise us.

Now hold your breath and hope more details would like out before the Paris 2008 debut. Yea, and stare a bit more at the photos and see if you can get a bit more clue than we have at this time.

Worldcarfans site tells us this that Lamborghini apparently plans to sell 3,000 units of the four-door coupe Urus each year, a figure which would send their annual sales figures through the roof. In the first half of 2008, Lamborghini sold just 1,309 vehicles.
