Jeep Patriot in the UK gets spruced up, new accessories on offer

Chrysler is offering the Jeep Patriot at £15,995 in the UK.

Chrysler, owner of the Jeep brand, is offering the Jeep Patriot a £15,995 vehicle which promises a driving experience that is very American to a country that is used to the Landrover and RangeRover genre.

The Patriot, which has already bagged a few green awards, now comes a range of accessories including a Startech chrome grille, a bodykit sports suspension and 20-inch alloys.

According to an auto news report, the new range of accessories for the Jeep Patriot will be available in dealerships from June. The company offers features that would help users personalise the internal and external styling of the Jeep Patriot or even enhance the performance of the diesel engine.

The company has loaded the Patriot with a slew of exterior design features. This includes a front and rear under-ride bodykit; chrome grille inserts; exhaust tailpipe cover and Startech logo for the rear of the vehicle.

For those who wish to spruce up the interior, the makers offer a leather effect centre armrest cover; four chrome loudspeaker rings; a chrome gearshift gate; leather gear knob and leather effect treatments for the top of the door panels and dashboard instrument panel. Users can also opt for items such as illuminated entrance panels; aluminium pedal pads; three-piece aluminium design kit for the dashboard and aluminium door locking pins, said the report.

Two sizes of alloy wheels are also available: 19-inch Monostar IV five-spoke alloys or 20-inch Monostar IV five-spoke alloys. Both options come fitted with Yokohama tyres and a locking wheel nut kit.

The news report pointed out that Startech also now offers a performance enhancing option. The PowerXtra Performance Module increases the power output of the 2.0-litre diesel engine by 40bhp and is aimed at drivers who either want a sportier drive, who tow or frequently have their car loaded with people and luggage
