Electric Motorsport has launched its GPR-S electric motorcycle in the US. The GPR-S electric motorcycle has been modestly priced at $8000.

The GPR-S electric motorcyle is a decent looking bike, suited for light commuters.

The GPR-S electric motorcycle uses a heavy duty PM motor, Etek-RT, which offers a peak power of 19hp.

he top speed of the GPR-S electric motorcycle is 70 miles per hour. It can travel up to 60 miles in power mode and 35 miles in economy.

The GPR-S electric motorcycle comes with the works – USD forks, lithium ion batteries, full body work, powder coated steel with braced aluminum swing arm frame, USD forks, disc brakes, and a digital dashboard.

Charge time is 4 hours with the stock on-board charger. The GPR-S electric motorcycle also comes with an optional speed charger with a built-in DMS that restricts the charge time to 1.5 hours. The battery capacity of the GPR-S electric motorcycle is 3.3kWh.

The GPR-S electric motorcycle is 1900 mm in length, 670 mm in width, and 1135 mm in height.

The wheelbase of the GPR-S is 1315 mm, seat height is 750mm, and maximum weight capacity is 90 lbs. The on-board battery weights 90 lbs.

Wheel options of the GPR-S electric motorcycle include stock alloy racing mag and wire wheels.

The GPR-S hand bar options include upright, upright wide, and clip on.

The GPR-S electric motorcycle can seat two people, and comes with optional travel case rear and sides, and an optional windshield.

Color options for the GRP-S electric motorcycle include red metallic, blue metallic, burgandy metallic, white, black metallic, and silver metallic.

The GRP-S electric motorcycle has a modular design that allows for future modifications, and addition of motors, battery packs, and other electronic products, if required.

Electric Motorsport says that they are accepting orders for their first 100 production units. They have accepted 25 orders so far. Electric Motorsport aims to produce 300 units of their GPR-S electric motorcycles in 2008. The first 100 Electric GPR-S motorcycles will be numbered special edition units, and will come with extra graphics and accessories.
