Spy shots of the highly-anticipated 2011 Chevy Volt electric car are doing the rounds on the Internet.

One of the pictures leaked from an internal presentation show the dashboard of the 2011 Chevy Volt. The dashboard has a white console, an on-off button, a vertical screen that displays Engine/battery charge and a CD player slot. The dashboard interface looks as though it is touch sensitive.

The 2011 Chevy Volt was also claimed to be spied on the Transformers II movie set, in Long Beach, California. If the car that was spotted was indeed a production 2011 Chevy Volt, then the spy shot suggests that the 2011 Chevy Volt would have a full fibreglass cover from one end of the car to the other and have metallic side mirrors. The exterior of the 2011 Chevy Volt in the spy shot has a Volt badge.
