There has been quite a few lightweight super cars with few outer panals, and even a few with none at all. Look at a Ariel Atom. This is basically just the same concept(In terms of chassis), but with a cloth cover to make it look pretty. And what exactly makes you think that a pannel is what provides you safety??? The Safty of a car lies in the chassis not in the pannels. Only thing a metal panel provides that this cloth won’t is noise reduction. I love how you can also change the lines of this car if you get bored with how it looks. The eye like movement of the head lights almost give the car emotion. I think it’s a great consept, problem is it will most likely stay at that.
