Alfa MiTo, the new sporty model from Alfa Romeo, will debut in the beginning of November the UK, ending Alfa car enthusiasts wait for a compact Alfa vehicle.  By November 1, bookings are expected to begin and it is expected that the Alfa MiT compacts will reach customers in January 2009.

The news comes as a confidence booster for Alfa Romeo UK, as the company is currently able to showcase its MiTo models in an array of dealerships more than two months ahead of its planned official UK launch. The company had earlier said that it intends to launch its Alfa MiTo on January 24, 2009. Industry buzz is that competitive financial offers are likely to be on offer by dealers in the UK for those who start bookings by November 1.

The new car is expected to be accepted by UK’s small compact car market as the MiTo was quite popular during its world debut at the 2008 British International Motor Show. The car would be priced at £10,975 for the entry level model. The £10,975 price to be tagged with the entry level Alfa MiTo 1.4 16V 95BHP Turismo is seen as catchy. The new MiTo in effect is expected to appeal to the customer who has a well charted out budget.

Elaborating on the specifications and the features, auto news reports said that the car shares its styling cues with the Alfa 8C Competizione supercar. As has been the case with the Alfa 8C Competizione supercar, Alfa MiTo will also come equipped with many a standard feature and technology that have not been attempted in of Alfa Romeos earlier models. Standard features include a special electronic control system DNA (Dynamic, Normal, All Weather), which adjusts the response of the car depending on driving style and conditions, and LED rear lights, the reports added.
