The updated 2011 Volvo C30 will have a completely new front, with a new grille, soft nose, headlights, lower front spoiler, larger iron mark logo, and an air intake similar to that of the Volvo XC60.
The company says that the new grille is exclusive to the 2011 Volvo C30.
The 2011 Volvo C30 will get exclusive badges, body kit, 18-inch aluminum wheels, tailgate spoiler, and chrome-plated tailpipes.
“Since its introduction in 2006, the Volvo C30 has become highly appreciated for its unique appearance,” said Daniel Backman, product manager.

“This applies in particular to the rear. With the new front, it feels as though everything has fallen neatly into place and that the car’s entire personality has been boosted to an entirely new level. The new exterior is also a better match for the way the C30 drives – challenging, direct and with a whole lot of attitude,” he added.
The rear of the 2011 Volvo C30 has waiver contours, more body color lower down that replace the black plastic panels, and a visible tailpipe.

The 2011 Volvo C30 comes with a new body color, Orange Flame Metallic, and customers can choose from five different colors on the lower trim.
The interior of the car has been updated as well.
Customers get a new color combination, that the company calls Espresso/Blond, with a dark brown upper section and a blond shade on the lower door sides.
Customers can choose new colors, such as orange, green and blue for fabric upholstery and Cranberry for leather upholstery.

Also the luggage compartment cover will come in a new material and sport a new graphic pattern.
The front seats will have embossed R-Design emblems in the front seats, R-Design centre stack and panel inserts, sports steering wheel trimmed in leather, blue speedometer, and extile floor mats with piping in contrasting colors.
The 2011 Volvo C30 comes with a new accessory styling kit comprising foglamp décor, a front skidplate, side scuff plates with etched Volvo C30 logo and a rear skidplate with an aluminum look.
Volvo has said in its press release that the 2011 Volvo C30 has an optional R-Design sport chassis that is sharper, with stiffer bushing, 10 per cent reduced steering ratio that gives faster response to steering wheel input.
The dampers and roll stabilizers are stiffer to enable quicker build-up of pressure and reduce any leaning tendency when taking corners, respectively.
The 2011 Volvo C30 will be available in Canada in the first half of 2010. Prices will be revealed closer to the date of launch.
