Honda Motor North America has launched four new ATV models for the year 2011. The new ATVs are named FourTrax Recon, FourTrax Foreman 4×4, FourTrax Foreman Rubicon and FourTrax Rincon. All the 4 new ATV models would be manufactured at the Honda Plant at South Carolina.
Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino, said that Honda have asserted their leadership role and hence introduced 11 brand new ATV models in 2010 which were all received very well, and now Honda is moving forward by early release of the 2011 models.
The 2011 Honda FourTrax Recon and Recon ES ATVs with Electric Shift Program (ESP) transmission are both powered by 229 cc OHV engines. A straight axle out back transfers the power to the wheels. The new model is available in red and olive colors. Both are utility ATVs that look reasonably stylish too. The FourTrax Recon ATV models are the smallest in Honda’s lineup, and are very fuel-efficiency according to the company. 2011 Honda FourTrax recon prices start at $ 3899.

It’s available in Red, Olive and Natural Gear Camouflage and has flexible fender flares. The 2011 FourTrax Foreman Rubicon ATV model is the the top of the line version that comes standard with ESP and GPScape navigation, as well as a continuously variable Hondamatic transmission and torque-sensitive front differential. Using EPS (electronic shift program), you can easily change gears by pressing the up-down buttons on the left handlebar. The engine of the 2011 Foreman Rubicon is slightly larger than that of the Foreman at 499 cc. It gets the Traxlok system to shift between 2WD and 4WD on the fly. This is the most powerful ATV in the 2011 Honda lineup. You get all the power you want with the 675 cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. Power is transferred via Honda’s automotive-style automatic ATV transmission. It also has a hydraulic torque converter to drive three forward gears plus one reverse gear. It’s available in Red, Olive and Natural Gear Camouflage. Price of the 2011 Honda Rincon ATv is not available yet.
