There are no radical departures from the BMW design of these days in the the 335is. Looks pretty much lke what everyone expected. Motive power is provided by a 322 bhp six cylinder engine – a bit less than that of the BW Z4 sDrive35is’ 335 bhp. There is a chance though that that is specifically for Canada, and the US version of the 2011 BMW 335is would get the same 335 bhp mill. According to Autoblog, that is what will probably happen. Performance figures available for the 335is so far show a 0-60 mph time below 5 seconds, and a maximum speed of 149 mph. Those power figures mean that the 2011 BMW 335is will be positioned below the M3.

The BMW document that was leaked also shows some other notable features such as a sport exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, optional 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and an extra water cooler. The other option is a Sport Automatic transmission.
BMW is expected to launch the 335is Coupe in March 2010, while the convertible would probably be launched in May.
According to Insideline, the new 2011 335is will also ditch its foglamps to allow more cooling.
As yet, there is no information on the exact price of the car. More detailed technical specifications are expected in a few days from now, and we will keep you posted.
