Audi has been trying real hard to take on its rival and fellow German car-maker Mercedes. The company recently released photos of its latest design – the A7 Sportback. The Audi A7 Sportback is developed to take on the Mercedes CLS head-on.
The Audi A7 Sportback is positioned between the A6 and the A8 sedans. The A7 Sportsback is a proper four door sports car that offers a big car feel and can comfortably seat 4 passengers in it. But the looks of the 17, though, screem four-door coupe. And to make things practical, Audi has ensured there is a substantial amount of boot space.

The Audi A7 Sportback is 4.97 meters long and 1.91 meter wide. This length is just about 17 cm shorter and 4 cm narrower than the A8 saloon.
Below is a very detailed video of the A7. Enjoy!
This car has a wheelbase of 2.91 meters. The A7 concept made its first public appearance last year at the Detroit motor show. The final vehicle that Audi has conceived is very close to the concept design that was shown. The aggressive deep front grille, a low chin and slim headlights are the highlights of its design while a sharp crease runs along the body highlighting the body panels. It has a short boot which gives it that sharpened overhang look from the rear. A spoiler is also seen on the boot to highlight the A7′s sporty looks. This spoiler is functional too and changes its angle automatically to cut wind noise while the car is in motion.

The Aud A7 Sportback weighs 1695 kg which makes it about 100 kilos lighter than the Mercedes CLS350 CDI, something that works in its favor.
The A7 Sportback has an boot space of 535 litres which can be increased to about 1390 litre simply by folding down the rear passenger seats.
