The new 2010 Yamaha XT660X is a motorcycle for the casual rider. Styled like a supermoto motorcycle, the 189 kilo Yamaha is not exactly a lightweight.

Specifications list of the XT660X show 48 bhp and 60 Nm on offer from the 660 cc single sylinder engine. The engine is fuel injected and liquid cooled.

In many ways, this is an urban motorcycle that can offer some fun on the weekends, and even take you on a long distance trip. Not that it is a tourer.

Lookswise, the 2010 Yamaha 2010 XT660X does not break any new path, but it is still a good looker with 17 inch wheels, and the new red colour works well too. The320 mm front disc brake provides adequate stopping power. The rear disc is a 245 mm one.

The 2010 Yamaha XT660 X has tlescopic forks in front with 200 mm travel to iron out almost anything the urban – or even the rural – streets can throw at you.

It seems the motorcycle will be available only in Europe – but that is just a guess. There is no information at this moment on the exact price of the motorcycle or when exactly it would be available in dealerships.
