The 2010 Yamaha FZ1 has been officially announced.

Photo: 2010 Yamaha FZ1 - visually the same?
Everything seems to be pretty much the same as the 2009 model, and the only serious difference is the revised ECU mapping for better and improved throttle response in the middle and low RPM ranges. Oh, yes, there are a few new paints available too.
The motorcycle will be available from dealers starting February 2010 at a price of $ 10,290.
The rest of the information about the 2010 Yamaha FZ1 is stuff that you probably already know, but let us repeat it nevertheless.
The010 Yamaha FZ1 has a tough aluminum frame, 998 CC fuel injected 20- valve engine, producing bhp. Power is transmitted too rear wheel, through a six speed transmission and then a final chain drive. 320 MM disc brakes do stopping duty at the front and rear.
Visually, the 2010 Yamaha FZ1 is the same as the 2009 model. We wish the 2010 model was a bit more exciting and different than this one. Perhaps, Yamaha has plans for a mid year version coming up. Sure, we can dream. For now, we have got a few photos of the 2010 Yamaha motorcycle for you. Enjoy!

What a dream bike it would have been with the crossplane engine. Oh well, can’t have everything I guess.
