This motorcycle has those healthy wholesome looks some of us are so much in love with. The 2010 Honda CB1100 looks like a complete motorcycle – not one purpose-built beast which can do one thing well, and everything else atrociously.

Photos of the 2010 Honda CB100 motorcycle have been leaked, and the initial impression is that every motorcycle enthusiast seems to like it. Very nice classic looks.

In many ways, the new 2010 CB1100 is a reproduction of the 2007 concept displayed by Honda. Of course, this looks like a real leak – so there has been no word from Honda about it at all. But then we only have to wait just a week for the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show anyway.

There will be another motorcycle unveiled at Tokyo alongside the 2010 CB1100 – but I am a little unclear if it will be another version of the same, or a concept motorcycle.

Let’s see what info we can get from looking at photos of the Honda CB1100 as well as the original 2007 concept bike.

The concept bike from 2007 - the new concept which be displayed alongside the 2010 Honda CB1100 at Tokyo Motor Show is expected to be on similar lines

The CB1100 looks a bit larger, but that may be because the engine is. The concept motorcycle had unique brake calipers, but in the production version, Honda seems to have replaced them with standard four-piston Nissin calipers. The wheels also seem to have changed. There is a lot more black on the concept motorcycle, and that seems to have gone in the production version. The silencers are now chrome, instead of black.

At this moment, there is no information on the actual specifications of the 2010 Honda CB1100, or any further details. Next week might be different though, and more info should normally leak out prior to the launch.

For now, you can enjoy the wholesome retro / classic looks of the 2010 Honda CB1100 here. See you at the Tokyo Motor Show.
