Harley Davidson released a new exclusive ad for its 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle motorbike, on October 8, 2008. The ad that features Victoria’s Secret supermodel Marisa Miller hopes to push sales of the 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle motorbike and move beyond its traditional older American customer base.

In August 2008, Harley Davidson reworked the 2002 Harley Davidson V-Rod motorbike and gave it a new look to appeal to brashy young bike riders. The redesigned 2009  Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle motorcycle wears more aggressive, muscular look compared to its predecessor as you can see from the photo gallery here.

The 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle that comes in Vivid Black, Dark Blue Denim; Red Hot Sunglo, and Brilliant Silver, is priced at $ 17,199. The color options are priced at $ 17,504.

Buyers can also go for a  coded-key security system priced at $345.

The 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle motorbike has screened-in gaping air scoops jutting out of the faux fuel tank. These replace the former louvers in the earlier 2002 Harley Davidson V-Rod motorbike.

The other way the Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle differs from the original version is that it has a new, intricately cast, 1-inch-diameter handlebar that ties together the inverted fork, headlight and mirrors to give the bike a clean front end.

Below the cast, there is a new satin-finished, big-bore dual-side exhaust with turned out tips. The 2009 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle has a 240 mm-wide rear tyre and five-spoke wheels.
