Fire hydrant or what?

Is it really a fire hydrant or just something you attach a hose to? It was wet, liked it, so clicked it.

Pigeon looking out

I was trying to get the outside out of focus and the pigeon in sharp focus, with a wide open aperture. Slow shutter speed, zoom etc etc and I clicked and the pigeon flapped its wings! Does that make it a ruined picture, or does it make it more natural and alive? Answers are for the learned. I just click.

Pumphouse roof

Our architect has a slightly cheesy taste. Same goes for those who stay in my apartment building. Here, we have painted our pumphouse roof in brilliant red. The rain has just stopped, and everything is wet.

Buddha

Taken under tubelight.

Bookrest

A lazy photo. Aperture priority. Normal interior lighting.

Kiran at Marine Drive

Kiran fiddling with his Canon Digital Rebel. Please note look of intense concentration!

Floor lamp

Unexpectedly good photo, by my standards. I had forgotten that normal electric bulbs thow an orange light.

Lobby lamp...

But this time, it has a cover!

Lobby lamp on ceiling

I tried to point the camera at the filament and make the rest of the pic darker. Looks like it worked.

Preeti Park lobby, 7th floor!

Clouds gathering outside above the boring skyline of Sanpada

Marine Drive, horse carriage

Kiran says these are not the original ones. They have much larger wheels. That stupid tree is breaking the horse's neck into two.

Small tea cups

Got them from Bombay Store. They are too small - only enough for a cutting cha.

Fruits in vinegar or something else

That's my finger at the extreme right. Some fruits in a bottle kind of thing I got at Dollar Store, Vashi for Rs 299/-.

Old bamboo chair, pants and feet!

Not bad, eh? :-)

Vashi view, from Sanpada, Navi Mumbai

This picture was taken after a heavy rain, outside my window. Still testing out night photography. Approx 4 seconds exposure I think.

Sardarji at Marine drive

A sardar and wife at Marine Drive. Always good to see a sardar in a soft mood!
