For the first time in the history of online cricket ticketing, the website Bookmyshow.com has introduced theatre-style ticket bookings for the IPL Cricket matches.
The CCI Stadium in Mumbai has been mapped to support theatre-style online ticketing, with the result that individual seat numbers are available to the spectators and they will be guided to the allocated seats. Customers can see the entire layout of the stadium and choose tickets according to their preference when they book online. This facility will be available only for the Mumbai Indians matches.
The website Bookmyshow.com said it has introduced several innovative features to make “viewing cricket a pleasure.” Customers can get their tickets delivered at their doorstep and can track the delivery status online.
While entering the stadium, each ticket will be scanned and validated at the entry gates.
According to the website Bookmyshow.com, users can also check out details such as venue address, bus/train routes to the venue, as well as facilities in the stadium such as food counters and parking.
Bookmyshow.com says it is the exclusive ticketing partner for the Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Daredevils – which means that tickets for cricket matches involving these teams can be booked online on the website www.bookmyshow.com and also through a mobile application, WAP and through a common number across 10 cities in the country.
