Chennai Super Kings signs up Lakshmipathy Balaji, to announce final squad this month
Former Indian player Lakshmipathy Balaji makes a return to competitive cricket after Chennai Super Kings signed him up for the DLF IPL Twenty20 tournament.
Chennai Super Kings cricketing affairs head V B Chandresekar said Lakshmipathy Balaji has been included as an additional bowler after conducting a test. Chandrasekar said Lakshmipathy Balaji bowled two 10-ver spells.
Lakshmipathy Balaji, who has been out of the national squad for three years, made his last appearance in Sri Lanka for the Indian Oil Cup in 2005.
