Panchkula: Mumbai Champs lost their second Twenty20 match in the Indian Cricket League with Kolkata Tigers by two runs in a thrilling encounter. Rohan Gavaskar (41 runs, 36 balls), AA Jhunjhunwala (33 runs, 29 balls) and A R Adams (21 runs, 13 balls) propelled Kolkata Tigers to 146 runs from 20 overs. Mumbai Champs could score only 144 despite a 31-ball 52 from R P Patil and 22-ball 30 from skipper Nathan Astle. Needing 9 runs in last over Mumbai Champs lost 3 wickets in 4 balls. Andre Adams bagged 3 wickets and the man of the match award.
