Ex-New Zealand skipper Martin Crowe to be Bangalore Royal Challengers’ chief cricket officer
Former New Zealand skipper Martin Crowe has been appointed chief cricket officer of Bangalore Royal Challengers IPL Twenty20 team promoted by billionaire Vijay Mallya.
Bangalore Royal Challengers captain Rahul Dravid was instrumental in Martin Crowe’s appointment. Martin Crowe would work with team strategy as well as offer tips on brand building for Bangalore Royal Challengers. Crowe will also act as a batting coach, while Venkatesh Prasad will look after the bowling department.
Bangalore Royal Challengers’ first match in IPL will be against Kolkata Knight Riders in Bangalore on April 18.
