Former Indian coach Greg Chappell on a talent hunt for IPL Jaipur

Former Australian cricket captain and ex-Indian cricket coach Greg Chappell has been entrusted with the task of spotting and grooming Twenty20 talent by IPL’s Jaipur franchaise, owned by Emerging media.
Greg Chappell and former Indian biomechanics expert Ian Fraser would select 24 players, who would then sign up for Cricket Star Academy.
The cricketers selected will have a training camp from March 21, Greg Chappell, who runs the Rajasthan Cricket Association’s Jaipur academy said.
Greg Chappel refused to be drawn to a discussion on whether Twenty20 would have favourable or adverse consequences for the game of cricket.
The Jaipur IPL team, which has media baron Rupert Murdoch’s son Lachlan Murdoch as one of the promoters, would look at the option of including the selected young cricketers in IPL Twenty20’s next edition.
Greg Chappel had stepped down as Indian cricket coach following a disastrous World Cup campaign in the Caribbean.
Emerging Media also announced the 2nd edition of its television reality show Cricket Star Twenty20.
Emerging Media has also shunned its association with Zee for its reality show. The Essell Group, which owns Zee, also bankrolls the rebel Indian Cricket league.
Chappell has screwed up the Indian team. Now he wants to do it on Jaipur IPL.
