Air India announces summer flight schedules
New Air India flights help workers in the Gulf who come home on annual leaves.

Air India has launched a Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah flight, with the first flight to takeoff on March 27, under its summer schedule. The airline will operate the flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with departure from Thiruvananthapuram at 9 am and arrival scheduled at 11.20 am.
The launch of the new flight is to cater to the holiday rush and timing with the annual leaves of employees in Sharjah. Meanwhile, Air India also announced its flight schedule for the summer season.
The airline's regular Monday flight to Doha will depart at 4 pm and arrive at 6 pm, while Doha flight on Friday will depart at 2.30 pm and arrive at 8.05 pm. It Monday flight to Bahrain would start at 4 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7.40 pm.
The Bahrain flight on Friday would depart at 2.30 pm and reach Bahrain at 6.20 pm, while the flight to Damam would depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 8.30 pm and at 10.30 pm.
Flight to Riyadh on Wednesday would start at 12.45 pm and reach there at 4.40 pm. On Friday, it will depart from Thiruvananthapurm at 1.10 pm and reach there at 5.15 pm.
The Kuwait flight on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday would start at 5.35 am and reach the destination at 7.55 am. On Saturday it would depart at 7.30 and will reach there at 10am.
Air India will operate two flights on Wednesday in the Kozhikode-Thiruvananthapuram sector. The Wednesday flight would depart at 12.45 pm and reach KOzhikode at 1.35pm. The second flight on Wednesday and the flight on Thursday would depart at 7pm and reach there at 7.50pm.
