Fly to Freedom with just 99 paisa with Spicejet

January 27, 2006: Low frills airline SpiceJet is saluting the nation as it celebrated its 58th Republic Day. An exciting promotional offer from the airline gives travelers the opportunity to avail of 99,999 seats at an unbelievable price of 99 paisa.

The offer is valid for travel between February 15 and April 15.. These promotional seats will be available on all SpiceJet routes spanning across 14 destinations with 84 daily flights, said reports quoting SpiceJet officials.

It has only been two years since SpiceJet started operations. The airline recently crossed 3 million passengers mark . The airline achieved the feat using its 10 new generation Boeing 737 – 800 aircraft. This ahs given it the rare distinction of being the only domestic airline with the highest average of 3 lakh passengers per aircraft.

The Freedom to Fly at 99 paisa offer is being as the company’s gesture of thanks giving to passengers as well as saluting the nation on the occasion of R-Day.

Industry reports said that SpiceJet boasts of an overall market share of 9 per ent. It is also the leader in load factor among all the domestic airlines. It also holds a record for highest load factor achieved by any airline based in India, with all time high 95.4 percent passenger load factor achieved on April 18, 2006.

The airline which commenced operations in May 2005 has been flying high with added passenger support ever since. With a value proposition that aims at simply eliminating unnecessary frills and pass on the cost reduction directly to the end consumer, the flyer loyalty has been ensured, say reports.
