Southwest Airlines offers low-fare
flights starting USD 49
Low fare tickets are on offer from
southwest.com for destinations
including Denver, Nashville, Omaha,
Kansas and Oklahoma among others.

February 22, 2007: Southwest
Airlines, the leading low-fare airline
in the US, is offering fares as low as
USD 49* one-way. The tickets can be
booked through southwest.com and there
is a mandatory 14-day advance purchase
by 8 March 2007 for flights starting 6
March 2007 and ending at 24 August
2007. (with the exception of Denver
and Florida fare sales).
The low fare tickets from Southwest
Airlines can be booked only through
southwest.com. Kevin Krone, Southwest
Airlines (NYSE:LUV) Vice President of
Marketing, Sales, and Distribution,
said, "We're offering our Customers
more time to grab these super low
fares, and this time we've included
some new destinations. With fares this
low, our Customers can get away
without spending a fortune."
There is a 14 day purchase period for
Denver and Florida fare sales by 15
April 2007. Southwest Airlines hopes
to serve Midwest passengers travelling
between Nashville and Chicago Midway;
between St. Louis and Omaha; between
Kansas City and Oklahoma City; between
Louisville and St. Louis; and between
Indianapolis and Kansas City, by the
low fare scheme.
Southwest Airlines also offers
California routes such as Sacramento
and Orange County; Orange County and
San Jose;Burbank and Oakland; Los
Angeles and San Jose; Ontario and
Sacramento; and between San Diego and
Oakland, starting at USD 49* one way.
The low-fare flights from Southwest
Airlines have a 14 day advance
purchase period and operates seven
days a week.
For Northwest passengers, Southwest
Airlines offers low-fare flights
starting from USD 49* to USD 99*.
