Qatar Airways Doha-Singapore flights
Improved connections to London, Paris, Manchester, Frankfurt, Athens, Rome, Madrid, Nairobi, Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi , Kuwait and Cairo

Qatar Airways has launched a daily flight between Doha and Singapore from May 2, which is being timed as to provide connection flight to European destinations. The Singapore route will be operated with an A330 aircraft with a two-class configuration of up to 247 seats in economy and 24 in business. This is in line with its `Summer 2006 Flying Programme.
With the new flight launch, Qatar Airways will be able to offer daily flights to Middle East and improved connections to London, Paris, Manchester, Frankfurt , Athens, Rome , Madrid, Nairobi, Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi , Kuwait and Cairo .
These were the steps taken by the airline to improve its product offering to passengers since launching scheduled flights on the route in December 2003 with three services a week, it said.
Addressing a press conference in Singapore, Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar al-Baker said the latest steps reflect the airline's commitment to providing passengers with more convenient flights to and from the city-state via Doha.
The A330 is the warhorse of Qatar Airways' long-haul fleet to destinations as far as afield as Europe, South Africa and Far East , with selected aircraft also equipped with a first class cabin.
In May 2004, Qatar Airways had upgraded its daily service from Doha , with four flights operating through Kuala Lumpur. In July 2005, the Doha-Singapore flight was upgraded to a non-stop service using a widebody Airbus A330-200 aircraft in a two-class configuration.
