Air Mauritius Bangalore (Bengaluru) flights soon

After Mumbai, delhi and Chennai, Air Mauritius will now fly to Bangalore too.

Air Mauritius, the national airline of island nation Mauritius, is ready to launch flights to Bangalore in India. Air Mauritius already flying to Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai in India. Bangalore will be the fourth Indian destination for air Mauritius. Flight tickets for travel in the Mauritius-Bangalore sector can be booked on the Air Mauritius website or through travel agents.

There will be three flights a week from Mauritius to Bangalore (bengaluru) in Karnataka. The flight time and schedule are as follows:

Mauritius departure 19:35 - Monday
Bangalore arrival 02:55 - Tuesday
Bangalore departure 03:55
Chennai arrival 04:45
Chennai departure 06:15
Mauritius arrival 10:30 - Tuesday

The first Air Mauritius flight in the Mauritius-Bangalore sector will be landing on April 28, the airline said in a statement. The airline already enjoys good load factors on the Mauritius-Delhi, Mauritius-Chennai and Mauritius-Mumbai sectors, which has prompted it to open the fourth destination in India.

The Air Mauritius flights to Bangalore will operate under the existing code share agreement with Air India on the routing Mauritius – Bangalore – Chennai - Mauritius. Flight timings are subject to slots clearances at respective airports.

Said Manoj R K Ujoodha, CEO of Air Mauritius: "We are proud to announce our operations a few weeks after the Indian Government allowed traffic rights on the route. Air Mauritius is the national carrier of the Republic of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. Created in 1967, it currently operates a fleet of five A340-300, two A340-300E, two A319-100, one A330-200 and two ATR72-500. Air Mauritius currently flies to twenty six destinations in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
