Kingfisher Imphal Guwahati flights

The Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher Airlines has launched direct flights from Guwahati to Imphal. According to a report, the country’s fastest growing private carrier will fly three flights a week, i.e. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline has also been careful to offer convenient timings for day-return travelers in these flights.

With the launch of this service, the airline now connects 27 cities and operates as many as 153 flights a day. The airline which operates a fleet of 25 brand new aircraft, also has said that it will offer convenient connections for guests traveling from Imphal to Kolkata and in the return direction as well, the report added.

Kingfisher Airlines has with the latest launch, established a presence on the north eastern region’s airway space. With similar additions to its routes Kingfisher Airlines sees itself climbing up to market leadership by year 2010. The airline is in efforts to provide passengers with better convenience in terms of connectivity and service.

In the past years, Kingfisher Airlines has won a variety of awards, which include the Service Excellence for a New Airline award from Skytrax, a UK based specialist global air transport advisor. This apart, the airlne had also won the best new domestic airline for excellent services and cuisine award from Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) and also the brand leadership award in the service and hospitality segment.
