Finn Air sees Mumbai as potential
destination
January 23, 2007: Mumbai is on
the radar of the Finnish carrier Finn
Air. The airline which about three
months ago launched operations to
India, has said that Mumbai would be
its second destination in India.
Jet Airways plans flights to Thailand,
China, North America
December 17, 2006: Under an
attempt to increase its revenues
through international operations,
India's largest private carrier Jet
Airways is planning to launch services
to Thailand, China and North America
next year.
EasyAir launch this November
May 10, 2006: EasyAir, a new
private airline to be floated by NRIs
based in US, is expected to start
flying this year. The brand EasyAir

March 21, 2007: UK-based
low-cost carrier Monarch Airline is to
commence scheduled services from
London Luton airport to Cyprus Larnaca
airport, starting March 26, 2007.
Air Canada to drop India service
March 15, 2007: Cost-cutting
needs have forced Air Canada to drop
its India service. The Montreal-based
airline has said that will end its
regularly scheduled service to India
on May 1.
