Airline catering and logistics major Gate Gourmet comes to India

Gate Gourmet marks its entry into the Indian market by signing an MoU with Advani Hotels & Resorts, for the transfer and sale of Airport Plaza Flight Services.

4 May, 2007: Gate Gourmet, the global airline catering and logistics provider, is all set to expand into the Indian market. As a first step, Gate Gourmet has signed an MoU with Advani Hotels & Resorts India Ltd. for the transfer and sale of its flight catering unit, Airport Plaza Flight Services. The company has not disclosed the terms of the agreement.

Guy Dubois, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Gate Gourmet, said, "We are very pleased and excited about the prospects of entering the Indian subcontinent for the first time.
