AirTran introduces Charleston -
Atlanta low-fare flights

AirTran Airways, the low-fare
carrier, will introduce two roundtrip
non-stop flights between Charleston
International Airport and
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta
International Airport. The new
Charleston - Atlanta route will come
into effect from may 2007 onwards.
On 7 June 2007, AirTran Airways will
introduce two more roundtrip flights
between Charleston international
airport and Hartsfield-Jackson
international airport. The Charleston
- Atlanta route is one of the
highest-fare routes in the US, and the
introduction of Charleston -Atlanta
AirTran Airways flights is sure to
bring the much needed low-fare travel
in the sector.
AirTran Airways will operate the
Boeing 717-200 aircraft for the
Charleston - Atlanta route. the
aircraft will have a seating capacity
of 117 passengers.
AirTran's entry to the market is a
result of the online survey, "where do
you want low-fare travel next", which
was launched sometime back. A huge
number of users opted for the
Charleston - Atlanta route.
