May 24, 2006

Mesa Air Group will start new flights from Farmington, New Mexico. Mesa's wholly-owned subsidiary Air Midwest will be operating these flights and the name of the services would be America West Express.

The America West Express routes are awaiting Federal Aviation administration approval. The new flights are expected to start on July 2, 2006. There will be 3 weekly flights from the Four Corners Regional Airport to Salt Lake City International Airport and will have a stop in Moab, Utah.

Mesa will have 3 hubs from Farmington, Phoenix and Salt Lake city( America West Express) and Albuquerque (Mesa Airlines). Tickets for these flights can be had through America West.

Mesa has also announced a special introductory price for the America West Express routes. The fare will start from $129 for round trips to Salt Lake city and will be applicable for a period of July 2 through July 31, 2006. Also, the tickets for the routes should be purchased before May 31, 2006.

Mickey Bowman, Vice President of Planning for Mesa Air Group, said, "Mesa continues to be the largest carrier in Farmington, offering 6 daily flights to Phoenix and Albuquerque.
