Britney Spears seems to be bouncing back if her bikini photo on OK! magazine’s August 21, 2008 is to be believed. Spears looks hot and healthy in a white bikini and oversize sunglasses. The shoot took place at the Las Ventanas resort in Los Cabos, Mexico in July 2008. Britney Spears has also revealed the secret to her weight loss and says that she has been eating healthy and working out regularly.

On the work front, Britney Spears will reunite with ex-flame Justin Timberlake to record a duet for her new album. Apparently, Britney Spears has been working very hard on the album. Jive Records has said that Britney is working with a top-notch team of producers and songwriters for the new album and they are very excited with what she has come up with so far. In an interview in the last issue of OK! magazine Britney Spears had said that she has been writing every day and thinks that this album will be her best work ever.

In 2007, Spears was supposed to record a track with Justin Timberlake but did not show up at the recording. Spears has also been nominated for three MTV VMA 2008 awards for Video of the year, Best Pop Video and Best Female Video, for her song Piece of Me. During the 2007 MTV VMA awards, when Britney was going through the worst phase of her life, both personally and professionally, she was severely criticised for her lacklustre stage performance and general fitness. It seems that Britney is working on her dancing abilities and rumor has it that she may perform once again during the 2008 MTV VMA awards.

Britney Spears was also on the cover of the last issue of OK! magazine where she talked about sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney said that she was uncomfortable with them being in show business. Britney also added that she is looking forward to being an aunty to  sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ son and that her boys will be like elder brothers to nephew Maddie.

Over the last few years, Britney has been severly criticised for her performances, relationships, wayward behaviour, parenting skills; sometimes very unjustly. True, she has made a complete hash of her life, but no one can deny that she has gumption. It’s good to see the pop girl get up, dust herself and start all over again. Attagirl!
