The sheer evil genius of this. You have to hand it to Endemol UK. The failed nemesis which Shilpa Shetty had to face in Big Brother UK, Jade Goody, will participate in the Indian version of the show, Bigg Boss 2, to be aired on Colors channel from August 17, 2008.
Why Jade Goody? Because a lot of people in India know her and hate her already. Okay, I personally hate Shilpa Shetty and her mannerisms too, and think Jade Goody is as bad as Shilpa Shetty is in irritability quotient.

But well, both Shilpa Shetty and Jade Goody understand money well. As does the production house. They both will happily do this, as long as the money is good.
For those who were living under a stone and don’t know who Jade Goody is – she participated in the UK version of Big Brother twice, the second time with Shilpa Shetty who she was pretty nasty to. It boomeranged, and Shilpa Shetty went on to win Big Brother UK, and will now host Bigg Boss 2 in India.
Would she be the first one to get voted out of the Bigg Boss 2 house? Very likely. Our innate racist tendencies, plus the problems guaranteed due to the inability to communicate the Hindi, means people would vote her out very quickly. And then again they may not. She would be interesting just because of the sheer awkwardness of the situation, and people may want to see her around in Bogg Boss 2 for a long time, so they can hate her a long time.
Who else do we have in the Bigg Boss 2 house? Well, there is Mika. Not Mika Hakkinen, the formula one driver. The singer who thought Rakhi Swant was fair game, and planted a couple of sloppy smooches on her, and then came out with that ridiculous song “tu ne pappi kyun li”. Sure the man can sing, but he is as cartoonish as they come, and I suspect he is an idiot to boot.
But wait – does this mean that Endemol would pay Rakhi Swant to join the house too, or at least make a guest appearance in Bogg Boss 2 so the sparks could fly? Well, I think it is quite likely. Money, baby. Forced “pappi” or not. Let’s wait and see.
