Bruce Springsteen had an affair with housewife Ann Kelly, says NY Post

According to the New York Post, Bruce Springsteen had an affair with Ann Kelly, a mother of two. The affair allegedly began in 2005 at the Atlantic Club gym in New Jersey where the pair worked out.
The details have been revealed in court documents which name Springsteen as the “other man” in a divorce. Bruce Springsteen, 60, was accused of having an affair with 45-year-old Ann by Arthur Kelly, her husband. Kelly, a businessman, filed for divorce a year ago.

Kelly claimed the singer was smitten with his wife Ann Kelly. In the court documents, he stated that his Ann had said Bruce Springsteen stood behind her treadmill and had once told her that she had the “nicest ass” in the gym.
According to New York Post, Ann Kelly enlisted the help of her friends to watch out for Bruce Springsteen ‘sightings’ at the gym, and to inform her when the singer’s wife was away.
He stated that his wife was invited to watch the singer rehearse for a concert, where “it felt like he was serenading” her. Ann Kelly reportedly also said Bruce Springsteen told her he thought about her while he was on tour.
In the court papers, Kelly stated that his wife of 17 years chose to have dinner with Springsteen in 2008 while he was having open heart surgery. The breaking point, he said, was when he heard that Ann had been seen kissing Springsteen.
The documents reveal that the Bruce Springsteen was the main topic of conversation in marriage counselling session for Ann and Kelly. Ann Kelly has, however, denied a sexual affair.
Bruce Springsteen, who has been married for 18 years to Patti Scialfa and has three children with her, rubbished the allegations as “unfounded and ugly rumours”. The singer got together with Scialfa, his current wife, while he was with his first wife, Julianne Phillips
The Post newspaper revealed that as part of the divorce settlement Kelly agreed to drop the adultery claims from his petition. The divorce is expected to be finalised this week.
