With Russia being seen as a market with great potential for growth, Kerala Tourism has made its inaugural entry at the Moscow International Travel and Tourism (MITT) exhibition.
Dubai has launched a global campaign, to promote its tourism facilities internationally. Initiated by Emirates airline and Group in partnership with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai hoteliers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) the campaign is estimated to be costing around AED 50 million, including flights, accommodation, meals and tours.
After taking a series of hits, with the economic meltdown and the Mumbai terror attacks, the Ministry of Tourism will now offer complimentary offers to its tourists and hopes to do better in 2009.
