It was the Company (Pyramid Saimira) which instantly informed the press about the forged letter after SEBI (in a hurriedly convened press conference) officials lazily denied the despatch letter on phone. 48 hours later, SEBI announced that the letter was forged. ....and SEBI's Corporate Finance department has nothing to do with such issues...its the takeover deptt that deals with such issues. ......and Please dont harp that media was taken for a ride....you guys never care to authenticate reports before publishing lest you catch the bus too late to give out of the "Scoop", had it been true.
