India to receive $10 bn in private equity by year-end, says CII and KPMG

A recent report released jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and KPMG, a global auditing firm, has said that private equity (PE) funds will be preferred for capital growth and India will gain PE investments amounting to around $10 billion by the end of the year.

Current global warming rate could lead to unlivable temperatures, says study

A joint research conducted by the Purdue University and the University of New South Wales, Australia has calculated the highest “wet-bulb” temperature that can be tolerated by humans and revealed that this temperature limit could be surpassed if greenhouse gases continue to be emitted at the present rate.
