| Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in July 2007 |
Come July, Mercedes Benz will don the role of a fashion giant at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. The event is to be held for the first time from 12th to 15th July.
The fashion event will see top international and German designers showing off their latest designs. The Stuttgart premium brand is already title sponsor of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York, which is regarded as one of the four most important international fashion events, said reports.
According to Merc, it is part of a continued commitment to the most important, trend-setting fashion events. As partner of this fashion event, together with the City of Berlin, Mercedes-Benz is supporting the organiser IMG in their efforts to establish the new four-day series of fashion shows which will be taking place for the first time next July at the Brandenburger Tor exhibition grounds.
Besides, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is expected to provide young designers with an important platform to attract attention to their creations.
This isn’t the first time that Mercedes-Benz is part of a fashion event. It had been active at important fashion events across the globe, like the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York. It also supports fashion events in Los Angeles, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico, Venezuela and Canada. Mercedes-Benz was also involved in a strategic cooperation with the designer legend Giorgio Armani, during which the fashion designer from Milan created the Mercedes-Benz CLK designo by Giorgio Armani, it may be recalled.
Industry watchers see the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin as creating a new platform combining emotion and experience and will arouse enthusiasm for new ideas about stylish, visionary design among its visitors.
